AVELLA: “You know, the fact that Senator Padilla actually says a free market idea, like encouraging folks to go invest in the private sector and actually go spend money in local businesses, now puts him out of line with 95 percent of the Democratic Party. So his chances, as we were talking in the last segment of running for president, probably are now zero. He will not be able to run for president because of those thoughts. It’s 3.8 million people. This whole idea is absurd that somehow the streets of L.A. are empty because of immigration policy. The fact is now people can feel safer going into the streets of L.A.”
