Sen. Ashley Moody: We’ve Gotten Out Zero Nominations by Unanimous Consent Because of the Democrats

MOODY: “I think what Leader Thune was saying is, look, we are in this to get it done, to deliver for the people. We don't want to slow down the progress that we're making here for America. And so we're going to start engaging in those discussions. And if that should happen, that's going to be on the Democrats, because we are going to put forth a good faith effort to get this done. The second thing we're focused on is the fact that we have passed -- we have gotten out zero nominations by unanimous consent because of the Democrats. This has never happened at this point in time in history in an administration. And so we have got to speed this up again. Good government is a functioning government with people in place to deliver on the things that were promised to the American people.”
