Sen. Moody on ‘Radical Judges:’ I’m ‘Grateful’ to SCOTUS for Maintaining the Limited Scope of the Judiciary on the Trump Agenda

The reason why we have exexisted as a free people living under a rule of law is because we have always gone back to the separation of powers, the checks and balances that our founding fathers laid out. That is how this great experiment of a free people have worked. And today it is a win for the United States of America and our institutional form of government to protect the rights of the people in our system of government. So, you know, I am so grateful. As a former judge, as a former federal prosecutor, as the attorney general of Florida, and now as a U.S. senator, I am so proud of this Supreme Court for drilling down on the issue very clearly, very clearly and making sure that we were maintaining the scope of the judiciary, the limited scope of judiciary. In fact, I think this will go a long way to allowing Trump to enact the policies that the voters elected him on. Will."
