BERA: “You know, I hear Republicans say all the right things. I think they‘re more afraid of Donald Trump than they are of hurting their own constituents. You know, I would urge my Republican colleagues to say, see if this is going to help the people that you represent. It‘s probably going to hurt a lot of them. It‘s going to hurt rural hospitals. It‘s going to take food benefits away from millions of Americans. It‘s not a step in the right direction. This is a bad bill, and I would hope that enough of my colleagues on the Republican side stand up and vote no."
