TUSK: "You know, probably not. But 10 years ago, did we think Donald Trump would be president? No. Three months ago, did we think a 33-year-old socialist would become mayor of New York City? No. So I think we’re living in really unchartered times. One thing, though, for AOC, that is a little bit of a new danger point, which is, she endorsed Mamdani, they’re very similar in terms of their ideology. If he is a disaster as mayor, that's going to get hung around her neck. So let alone president, let’s assume she primaried Schumer in '28, which seems like maybe the more likely outcome. If Mamdani is a failure, Schumer will go to every part of New York — Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Nassau County, Westchester — and say, this is what she wants to bring to your city, too. So she now has a real vested interest in being successful."
