MSNBC: Fmr. DoJ Official Erez Reuveni Letter Says Emil Bove Suggested Subordinates to Ignore Court Orders

‘Under Bobby’s leadership, those cases involve deportation flights to that mega prison in El Salvador under the guise of the Alien Enemies act’

EXCERPT:

MENENDEZ: "Donald Trump’s attempt to turn one of his top Justice Department officials into a federal judge might implode tomorrow. Emil Bove is set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. But today, NBC News confirmed that a whistleblower stepped forward with some damning information. In an explosive letter, fired DoJ attorney Erez Reuveni claims Bove suggested lawyers at Trump’s Justice Department ignore court orders. Under Bove's leadership, those cases involve deportation flights to that mega prison in El Salvador under the guise of the Alien Enemies Act, migrants being sent to Guantanamo Bay and the wrongful deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Trump’s Justice Department wanted Reuveni to argue Abrego was a terrorist. He refused because the government did not have evidence to back up that claim. Reuveni pushed back, saying, 'I didn’t sign up to lie.' He was then placed on leave and ultimately fired.”
