WaPo’s Svitek: A Slight Majority of Republican Voters Said They Had a Great Deal of Confidence in Trump’s Use of Force in Iran

SVITEK: “Yeah, and I think we've seen some polling in recent days that suggests that the typical, you know, all-out enthusiasm that we see among Republican voters for things that Trump does is not necessarily present in this moment. There was a CNN poll today that said that I think 80-some percent of Republicans approved of Trump's decision to strike Iran. But once you ask them how much confidence they have in Trump's ability to use force in Iran, there was only a slight majority of Republican voters who said they had a great deal of confidence. There were, I think, 37 percent said they only have a moderate deal of confidence in Trump's handling on this issue.”
