TRANSCRIPT:

ANDERSON: “Some U.S. lawmakers got word in advance about the strikes on Iran, but the notification went along party lines. Sources say Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate majority leader John Thune got the early notice. The same applies to the top Republicans on the House and the Senate Intelligence Committees. But their Democratic counterparts were informed later, despite the fact that they all are usually briefed on major military engagements. Well, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer is now demanding answers about the strikes from President Trump. Both chambers are expected to vote in the coming days on the limits of his war powers.”
