Symone: There Are Two-Year-Olds Who ‘Have More Decency’ than the POTUS and Senator from Utah

‘Sometimes it’s enough to just say, I’m sorry’

EXCERPT:

SANDERS-TOWNSEND: "I think there are some two-year-olds that actually have more decency than the president of the United States and the senator from Utah have exhibited in this moment. What we are saying, or at least what these individuals are saying, is that they lack decency, that decency and compassion and kindness are relegated to just the people with whom we agree. And that is not only deeply problematic, that helps fuel the divisions in this country. Sometimes it’s enough to just say, 'I’m sorry.' Sometimes it’s just enough to say, 'I messed up. I didn’t get that one right.' But the inability — not even inability, because they can, they want, and the 'want' is the problem here. And I just — we just — I don’t think we should just move on from this."
