Labor Sec. Chavez-DeRemer: I Don’t See Anything in the Numbers That Is Speculating There Will Be a Recession
EXCERPT:
CHAVEZ-DeREMER: "I don’t think there’s anything in the numbers or anything that is speculating that there will be a recession. Again, the president has been laser-focused. I think that’s why you’re seeing more countries continue to come to the table. It’s just been a few months, and I don’t think the expectation that China would be at a table and a deal would be done, according to the president, with his final signing off, I would imagine will happen over the next, you know, whatever amount of time he determines, but he brought them to the table. That’s the confidence level that he has in the American people, and people are understanding that he cares about them first. This is America-first policies. Serving the pleasure of the president, we are now all of the secretaries deployed on the ground to protect Americans first. That includes the American worker."
