Varney: Hard To See the GOP Side with ‘a Tantrum Prone, Mega Rich Genius ... Elected by Nobody’

‘Pass the bill, cut taxes, grow the economy, that is what Trump was elected for’

EXCERPT:

VARNEY: “The Democrats, well, they are having a field day. The public feud has made them almost giddy. The late-night so-called comedians had a grand old time and the media delighted to see the two men they hate most go at it in public. Okay, just hold on a minute, please. They may be having fun with the insults, but think this through. This may be good for Trump’s big, beautiful bill. Republicans are rallying around Trump, not Musk. Elon was never that popular with politicians, he trod on their toes. It's hard to see the United States Senate killing the bill because Musk doesn’t like it. Some more spending cuts may be added, and that makes passage of the bill more likely. The bottom line for the market and the economy is this: pass the bill, cut taxes, grow the economy. That is what Trump was elected for. Hard to see the Republican Party siding with a tantrum-prone mega-rich genius who was elected by nobody."
