Fmr. New Zealand PM Says Her Daughter Has Noticed that There’s More Three Dollar Items Lately at the Dollar Store

COLBERT: "So your daughter, who is six now, I believe, how does she like America?"
ARDERN: "You know, there's lots of things that she — she misses home, but she really enjoys the dollar store." 
(Laughter)
COLBERT: "Oh, yeah?"
ARDERN: "A big fan, massive fan. She does believe there’s been some inflation lately. She thinks there are more things in the $3 category now than the $1 category and she’s very upset about that."
COLBERT: "So she is going to grow up to be an economist?"
ARDERN: "I don't know."
