Grind: You Really Have to Pierce Elon’s Inner Circle To Be Able to Report on His Drug Use

GRIND: "So I’ll start. You know, this reporting, I will just say, is incredibly hard. Last night, Elon Musk tweeted something about the story like, well, if I was doing all these drugs, you know, people would have seen me. The reason this is so hard to write about, and I’ve actually written extensively about his drug use with my former colleagues at The Wall Street Journal as well, is that he is very private about it. Of course, he is not doing this like in the Oval Office or in doge meetings, right? And so you really have to be able to pierce his inner circle to be able to report on this. And so that is what we have done. And of course, you know, my colleague Megan Twohey and I, we’ve sent him we sent the White House an extensive list of questions about all of this. We had questions about the prescription for ketamine he claims to have, as well as our reporting shows that at spacex, where he relies on billions of dollars of government contracts and is not supposed to be using any drugs, he’s been getting advanced warnings for drug tests. So we of course, asked all about that earlier this week and received no response before publication."
