Michael Steele: ‘Galling,’ ‘Disturbing’ that Trump Admin. Is Throwing out Convictions for a Million Dollars

‘What should we be expecting from the Justice Department and this system right now?’

EXCERPT:

STEELE: "That, I think for me, Lisa, is the most galling and disturbing part of all of this, is the fact that you have this administration basically saying, 'Okay, for those of you who want to play, you gotta pay. And when you do, you get the pardon.' And for those that, you know, who are, you know, like you said, on the other side of the aisle, you’re stuck. What should we be expecting from the Justice Department and this system right now when you’re looking downstream, the potential for more and more of these to come? How does this weaken the core of the service inside the building when all those — all that work, all those convictions, all the trials are summarily thrown out because someone wrote $1 million check to Donald Trump?"
