Sen. Marshall on the MAHA Report: 70% of Americans Have a Chronic Disease, We Have an Epidemic of Health Issues
RUSH EXCERPT:
MARSHALL: "What I’m excited about this report shines a light on the challenges of America’s health right now. 70% of Americans have a chronic disease 20% of adolescents arana prescription drug there is no doubt that we have an epidemic of health issues especially in our youth. I like this is the beginning, this is the start we identify the problem and now were talking about solutions that have a foot in agriculture and a foot in healthcare my entire life as you know for 25 years. I delivered a baby most every day of my life what I saw was an explosion of diabetes and pregnancy and the morbidity and mortality caused by that now that is expanded to all areas of life especially our children and there’s a role for agriculture to work with us as well I’m so proud of what our farmers have been doing as far as soil health and growth more with less. It is great I have this opportunity on the agriculture and finance and health to bridge the gap and make America healthy again. What I like about President Trump’s approaches in all of government approach this is not a problem for HHS is a problem for agriculture so I would love to see what Brooke Rollins is doing in the EPA has a huge role to see what administrator Lee Zeldin has been doing and it’s incredible. These agencies are not in silos there working together. I cannot be work cited."
