Tezlyn Figaro: The Liberal Movement Has Been Far Left and Has Not Included All Voters

FIGARO: “The thing is, Jesse, what Cuomo is talking about in New York doesn’t necessarily apply to Atlanta, doesn’t necessarily apply to Texas, doesn't apply to California, Chicago, many other cities. So if that works for him in New York, who they seem to be very excited about, that’s fine. But if they take that message all around the country, I don’t know how it would land. But I will tell you this: black folks, who they forgot about black folks, black people were the darling, somehow that’s changed, but black folks are typically moderate and some even conservative and not so far left. So I will be honest and say that the progressive movement, the liberal movement has been far-left and has not included all of the voters."
