Charles Payne on ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’: This Isn’t the Right Hill for lawmakers to Die On’

‘There are other major issues particularly on a campaign promise to do less spending and more cutting’

EXCERPT:

PAYNE: “But in the grand scheme of things to get this through, we’re dealing with that. We grin and bear it. It’s part of success, I think. And these other folks that Representative Lawler was talking about, I’m not sure who they are. You know, those states put themselves in predicaments that I don’t think the rest of the country think they should be bailing them out. So, I don’t know that this is the right hill to die on when there’s some other major issues here, particularly on a campaign promise to do less spending and more cutting.”
