‘I think there is this sect of Christians that have a hard time with women in leadership’
FARIS: "Listen, I mean, I have my own theories. I think, too, growing up in a faith-based household, a very, I would say in some sense, a conservative, Christian household, I think there is this sect of Christians that have a hard time with women in leadership, whether that be elders or pastors. I know growing up, you know, it was taught at least to me that women weren't allowed to be in those positions and I evolved, you know, as a Christian. Now, I won't go to a church unless there are women in ministry, women in powerful positions."
