PLASKETT: "Well, I don’t necessarily agree with that assessment. If you look at the top leadership of the house, it is hakeem Jefferson Katherine Clark and Pete Aguilar. Those are by no means geriatric and all three of them would get their back up if sun someone said they’re old."

PLASKETT: "And we saw Jerry nadler who head up the Judiciary Committee and wanted to continue and volted out. Jamie ras kins took the reins. And last Congress I was to help up the committee with chair Jim Jordan. I was the ranking member on that there were five members who had more experience than me. I think that experience has a part to play. One individual needs to know how to and have the respect of their colleagues."
