Rep. Goldman: Trump’s First 100 Days Have Been ‘an Utter Disaster’

‘I don’t think we can or should wait until November to be really ramping up the pressure’

EXCERPT:

GOLDMAN: “Yes, I think they understand that. And that’s why you’re seeing steady marches into the Speaker’s office from moderate Republicans who know that if Medicaid is cut half as much as what it would be required to cut in order to meet their budget, they will lose their election. And those who are seeing the poll numbers tanking for, not only Trump, but everything that’s going on, whether it’s Kilmar Abrego Garcia or the tariffs tax, or the economy, or costs that are going up and the stock market going down, literally, his first 100 days has been an utter disaster. And they know that their political lives will be on the line and that’s why this reconciliation vote is so important and it’s why I don’t think we can or should wait until November to be really ramping up the pressure.”
