WOLFSON: “But we can take a step back and look at the moves around biomedical research funding cuts. Those are cuts that the Trump Administration has made, billions, billions of dollars, sometimes around DEI, sometimes just attacks on our research on cancer, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, heart disease, on the basis of claims of anti-Semitism, which have nothing to do with that research. Nothing to do. And the reality is that those cuts that the Trump Administration is making, they kill. Trump’s cuts kill. They’ll kill everyday Americans because we’re going to lose the research we need and the therapies we need when our family or ourselves, when we go to the doctor for cancer or Alzheimer’s. So Trump’s cuts are having a drastic effect on the health and well-being of this country. And with accreditation, they’re making the same attempts."
