Lavorgna on Tariffs: The Markets May Have Not Taken Trump Seriously but We’re Moving in the Right Direction

We will get a budget deal in the coming months. That is key to the economy’s performance in 25 and beyond.”

LAVORGNA: “The tax cuts are important because if we don’t extend the tax cuts give a record large tax increase next year that was meaningful damage growth. The tariffs will come into more focus, some of the tariffs will be used to pay for some of the things that the administration wants and therefore the period of maximum certainty that we are in right now will clear and the economy will take off in the second half."
