Cotton: I’m Encouraging Harvard, Columbia to Simply Affirm Commitment to Following Federal Law

‘To stop discriminate on the basis of race when it comes to admissions and hiring’

EXCERPT:

COTTON: "When I was there in the 1990s, obviously, it was a very liberal school, but I, as a conservative, did not feel like I was oppressed or silenced or censored, and I don't think any of my conservative friends did either. But that's simply not the case at so many of the college campuses anymore. And what the Trump Administration has said to so many of these universities is they simply want them to follow the law, to protect their Jewish students from harassment and intimidation by these pro- Hamas lunatics on campus, to stop discriminating on the basis of race when it comes to admissions and hiring, and to take other steps that are consistent with their obligations, like disclosing the foreign gifts they get from countries sometimes that are not aligned with the United States policy. So I would encourage Harvard and Columbia and every other university to simply affirm its commitment to follow federal law."
