BERNSTEIN: “My advice to the president would be to go out there and declare victory, because that's what he does, 'I won the trade war, it's over.' Markets would recover, a lot of uncertainty would dissipate, and that would be a positive for the economy. I'd probably see some recession probabilities start to come down. But here's where some real long-term damage has been done. It's in the bond market, and it's one of the reasons Trump blinked last week.”
