Oren Cass: When You Tell Working Families That We’re Going To Be Building Things Here, ‘That’s a Reversal of the Chaos We’ve Seen’

CASS: "I think certainly the White House is paying attention to the polls, but I think you got it exactly right, Laura, when you talked about the economic chaos that the working class has been facing for, you know, 30, 40 years. I mean, the crazy things that so many ghises, most of the times they would say they love disruption. Right? They call it creative destruction. And they said, you know, it’s fine if we send the jobs overseas. It’s fine if the factories close, everybody will find a new and the stock market will go up. And working families saw how that worked for them. So, when you tell them now well now we’re doing the opposite, now maybe it’s not as good for the stock market, but we’re actually going to be focused on where the jobs are and we’re going to be focused on building things here, that’s not chaos. That’s a reversal of the chaos that we have seen. And that’s something that I think is exactly what we finally need to reverse and get back to in this country."
