EXCERPT:
SMITH: “All right, Aishah, we’ve got this update now. Fox News alert. This just in. From Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. We just started getting word that two American Airlines planes clipped wings at that airport. This is according to a statement now confirmed with the FAA. This happened around 12:45 P.M. Eastern time, so just a couple hours ago. We were told one plane was headed to Charleston, South Carolina, the other was headed right here to New York City, to JFK. One was taxiing, one was parked. The Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority says there is no effect on flight operations at that airport. Both aircraft have since returned to their gates and no injuries have been reported.”
