McGrath on Tariffs: ‘I Call It Economic Vandalism’
RUSH EXCERPT:
McGRATH: "Well, I call it economic vandalism. Okay. Because you’re taking an economy that. Look, it’s not perfect, but you’re ruining it. And here I can speak for, you know, I live in Kentucky. You talked about Kentucky farmers. Kentucky farmers were hurt during the first Trump Administration, and Trump had to bail. I don’t even say Trump. Trump didn’t bail him out. The American taxpayers bailed them out with the over $20 billion. And now we’re we’re doing the same thing. And here’s the thing. What? Those farmers. Are not going to get those markets back. No. So the markets that have left soybeans, grain, they’ve left, they’re gone. The other countries are going to fill in that gap, and we’re not going to get them back in Kentucky. Auto. Auto industry Toyota, ford. Not only is it going to hurt the industry, it’s going to hurt the consumers. We’re talking about 3 to $10,000 more per car when you buy a car. But Trump said. He. Doesn’t care. He doesn’t care. That’s exactly what his car prices go up."
