Fauci Claims He Doesn’t Know Who Tried to Censor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya
EXCERPT:
FAUCI: “I don’t know who was trying to censor. The only thing that I can do is speak for myself. I just said I disagree with it. I didn’t say, ‘Censor it.’ I thought it was conceptually and practically flawed, and most of the epidemiologist I know agree with me. It was never an idea of trying to censor anybody. It was a question — we disagree. We disagree with the premise that, how do you sequester all the vulnerable people? What do you do with multigenerational homes? It’s the assumption that the only vulnerable people were the people in nursing homes. You know, 30% of the population is obese, they’re vulnerable. There are 12 to 15 to 20 million people that are immune compromised, they’re vulnerable. What are you going to do, put them all in camps to segregate them away? You can’t do that. And then it was based on the premise that ultimately we’d develop herd immunity, so you could let it rip through the population and then everyone would be protected. Well, it’s been absolutely proven that herd immunity is not applicable to Covid. Why? I got infected three times already. Where does the herd immunity come in?”
