THOMAS: “Surprise in that it's just a bizarre idea. I don't know exactly how learning arm drags to the back is going to help any kind of field agent apprehend ne'er-do-wells in the lawbreaking community, so to speak. It seems like a bit of a waste. I mean, we -- just yesterday, there was -- scientists at the CDC and NIH being sent home and had their bags packed. And I'm, like, how is that not a more suitable use for government funds, versus just training field agents? And martial arts is always beneficial to use, but on the government dime, it doesn't exactly make a ton of sense.”
