Kevin O’Leary on Canada: Just a Little Difficult Time in a Long 100-Year Marriage

‘This is a marriage’

EXCERPT:

O’LEARY: “Now, it’s great for politics, it's bad for trade negotiations, but it's just — the timing is wrong. As soon as the election is over, the country will have a new leader with the four-year mandate just like Trump, and they will fly down to Washington right away and start the negotiations. Where they go, in my view, is a positive thing, because these tariffs do a tremendous amount of damage on both sides of the border. 17 states, their number one trading partner is Canada, and 75% of output of Canada is purchased by the United States. So there’s no way, this is a marriage and we are having a little tiff right now, a little difficult time in a long 100-year marriage. That's exactly what it is."
