SWISHER: “And so if all the attention could be focused not on Trump but on Musk, at some point, if he has to cut him, like ,he will if he has to. Same thing with Mike Waltz, same thing with many other people. He can just say that was his fault. And they slowly — you’ll start to see a slow buildup of, 'Oh, Elon...,' 'Oh, Elon...,' and then — but it’s really hard to disengage yourself from this guy because he — you know, the only other person that seeks more attention than Elon Musk is Donald Trump, and so at some point that might be — push might come to shove, but I don’t think it’s going to be for a while. I thought initially it would, but Elon’s been very good at playing beta to him, which he’s not a natural beta, he’s an alpha, but he’s a pretend beta for him."
