MENENDEZ: “A beloved American tradition dating back to the 19th century is getting a Trumpian makeover this year. the White House is now soliciting corporate sponsorships for this year’s Easter Egg Roll. That according to a document sent to potential sponsors obtained by CNN and The New York Times. Companies can expect branding opportunities in return for sponsorships ranging from $75,000 to $200,000. The event is historically privately funded without taxpayer dollars. But it’s the fact that they’re turning the White House South Lawn from a Tesla showroom into the equivalent of a QVC studio that troubles some legal experts. That event will be April 21st and we’re going to keep an eye on it.”
