CORN: "Well, it’s not unusual to have a special envoy for a war, for, you know, a particular case. But to Tom’s point, this special envoy isn’t very special. And that’s when you want someone with experience. And, you know, I don’t agree with Marco Rubio’s foreign policy, but he’s there. There’s a State Department full of expertise on this. And if the administration is not using that, it tells you something: that they’re not serious. And remember, Trump said, you know, he could do this deal in 24 hours. It was a complete lie. And we should never forget, I know people don’t like talking about the Russia controversy of the 2016 election, Trump was elected in part due to the Russian intervention in that election to help him. So that should color everything that he does, says about Russia from here until whenever this all ends."
