You hear them talk about the Constitution and separation of powers, how Trump is the dictator, how Trump is the danger, how Trump is creating a constitutional crisis. They stole this form of propaganda from Marx too. They’re very good at this. They learned from Marx that the ends justify the means. That is, you appropriate the language and the words and the symbols of your targets and use them to attack, discredit, mischaracterize, and demonize them. So, Trump, who’s defending the Constitution, Republicanism, separation of powers and so forth, he is said to be the dictator destroying the Constitution. Separation of powers! He is a threat to democracy, et cetera. An endless conga line of Democrats and leftists on TV and elsewhere are spewing this propaganda.”
