    EXCERPT:

BAKER: “He thinks that Donald Trump may or may not be following the law. And he, the judge, believes that he needs to have more information in order to make that decision. So that’s the new definition of high crime and misdemeanor. Does that constitute respect for the judiciary? A lot of people would say no. Among the people who say no is Chief Justice John Roberts, who weighed in yesterday in a rare statement, saying that impeachment is not meant to be the remedy for court decisions you don’t like. That’s what the appeals process is for. That’s what — you don’t like what Judge Boasberg says, you take it to the next level. You don’t like what that level says, you take it to the Supreme Court. And if you lose the Supreme Court, you abide by it. That’s what our tradition is. And the question is very much open whether Donald Trump will abide by that, if that’s where we end up.”
