Rep. Stansbury: Firing Federal Workers ‘Is Illegal and Abusive’

STANSBURY: "You know, I’m not in a position to tell people what decisions they should make about their careers, but I want our federal workers to know that Democrats are fighting for them, that we stand with them, and that they have rights. And so if they are considering a move in their career, talk to your union, talk to a lawyer, call your congressperson and let us know how we can help and support you. But we need our federal civil service, so stay strong. We’ve got your backs, and the retaliation and abuse that you’re enduring right now is illegal and abusive, and we’re not going to stand for it."
