We would prevent financial companies from taking advantage of ordinary Americans. And I found out that I was fired last Tuesday. I received an email at around 8:30 at night to my personal email. That email went out to about 70 of my colleagues, and it said that I was — my performance was not up to standards for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. But it was the same email that everyone else got. In fact, it didn’t have my name in it. It was a — it just said 'To employee, first name, last name.'"
