Steve Hilton: The Real Takeaway from RFK Jr.’s Hearing Is How ‘Insufferably Pompous’ Democrats Are
EXCERPT:
HILTON: “Well, a couple of things, Martha. First of all, it is very clear that you’ve got this extraordinary role reversal going on now, where you have the Democrats who are out there kind of defending Big Pharma and fighting against measures that are pro-public health. Amazing to see that. Secondly, I’m on the road a lot these days in California and I can tell you that one of the things that animates the Republican Party base, the Trump base, the grassroots, whatever term you want to use most, apart from the border issues, including the ones that we’ve just seen discussed and handled today with Laken Riley, is the MAHA agenda. They are so fired up about it. They love Bobby Kennedy, they love this agenda, they want to see it implemented. This really is at the heart of the Republican grassroots energy right now. But the real takeaway for me, basically, was watching these senators just so insufferably pompous. I mean, not really asking questions, just endless pathetic grandstanding and speechifying. Not interested in the answers. We now see that they’ve prepared the responses in advance. I think the real takeaway is that it discredited the Senate.”
