Juleanna Glover: ‘I Am Utterly Terrified’ by the ‘Reality’ of a Trump Nomination

‘Winning with 1241 when you need 1237 to get there, that four delegates is a little too close for comfort for him’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:

SCARBOROUGH: “Juleanna, one third of the Republicans have voted last night said they wouldn’t vote for Donald Trump in the general election. How does he narrow that gap?”
GLOVER: “Well, we’re [indecipherable] here like this is a four-gun conclusion of the idea."
BRZEZINSKI: “OK. So, you don’t want to accept that?”
GLOVER: “I am utterly terrified that this something that is reality.”
BRZEZINSKI: “Do you accept that it’s getting to look like reality.”
GLOVER: “Based on Steve’s numbers, winning with 1241 when you need 1237 to get there, that four delegates is a little too close for comfort for him. So, first of all, this is not a foregone conclusion. I think that we need to also be very realistic of the fact that last night was not a very good night for people who want a third party option for something like this. Let’s say trump is, indeed, our nominee. We won’t actually know that now until the first week in June. A third party operation would have to be up and running in May. There’s a small chance that Trump might not be the Republican nominee. You would have conservatives like me trying to stand up a third party or some sort of alternative to Trump with the possibility that you could still have a reasonable scientent and winning Republican as the nominee.”
BRZEZINSKI: “Well, who would that be? You thought it was Jeb.”
GLOVER: “I would love it to be Jeb. I’d love it to be Romney, Paul Ryan.”
