BALLASY: “As you know, Vivek and Elon are working on spending cuts. You guys don't have a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. Do you see you guys actually reducing spending, Republicans? And in what areas do you think you might be able to do it?”
MORENO: “Look, it's -- it's actually a very simple answer. You got to look at the consequences if we don't. So it's not can we or will we, it's the consequences are so grave that if we don't attack spending, we're gonna bankrupt this nation. We're not going to allow that to happen.”
