CHU: "I have to say that FEMA has been incredible, and it all started with Governor Newsom asking President Biden to declare this a national disaster and then getting our federal emergency management grants to come to our area. Normally, there’s a 75% reimbursement rate for all firefighting expenses. But President Biden then went one step further and made it 100% reimbursement. FEMA also has come out, and they are setting up a local assistance center."
