You know, he’s always the president of the United States and he has earned and deserves that respect. But to most of us, he was Mr. Jimmy. And would wave to us and talk to us when he walked by or rode by on his bicycle with Miss Rosalynn. And it was just a great, great place to live, and a large part of that is because of the man that Jimmy Carter was.”
