Democratic National Committee chair hopeful Marianne Williamson slammed the Democratic Party as a “tarnished brand” while accusing Republicans of stealing “patriotism.”

Williamson appeared on ABC News on Thursday after announcing her longshot bid to lead the DNC. In her announcement, the self-help author argued Democrats need to “recognize the psychological and emotional dimensions” of President-elect Donald Trump’s “appeal.”
