Matt Gorman: ‘I’d Feel Fairly Safe Putting My Money Down that Kamala Harris Will Not Be the Nominee in ‘28’
‘I think Trump is the aberration in that regard, not the rule’
TRANSCRIPT:
GORMAN: "Journalists love to ask, who‘s the leader of the Republican Party right now after we lose the presidential? And the answer is there really wasn‘t and there isn‘t when there isn‘t a presence in the office, just like there isn‘t right now for the Democrats. And that‘s okay, right, because that allows these things to grow. I would feel fairly safe putting my money down that Kamala Harris will not be the nominee in '28 for a host of reasons. I think Trump is the aberration in that regard, not the rule. But you have a bench, and I think I'll tell you right now Josh Shapiro is pretty happy he wasn't on the ticket, I'm sure, and part of all that."
