LEE: "And let me just tell you, Ana, we had a bipartisan agreement. The public wants to see us, first of all, work in a bipartisan way. They don’t want to see a non-elected billionaire serving as president and president-elect as a vice president. This is outrageous. Wreaking havoc on the public, that will happen if, in fact, we shut down. Democrats are working very hard to make sure that the government stays open because people will be furloughed, services will be cut. There are huge impacts on people who live paycheck to paycheck, services that they rely on. So there’s no way that Elon Musk should be directing the Republicans and then threatening them to primary them if they vote a different way than what he has ordered. And this is dangerous for our democracy also."
