JAYAPAL: "Well, if the Republicans insist on this lunacy, then yes, I suppose we will, and it’ll be their fault that Americans don’t get disaster relief, that Americans don’t get their Social Security checks. That is on the Republicans. Mike Johnson negotiated a deal with Leader Jeffries and Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden, and now he’s reneging on the deal because the shadow president Elon Musk said that we shouldn’t be doing this deal. So, this is on them. They’re going to have to figure their way out of it."
