Sen. John Cornyn: Pete Hegseth Confirmation Will Be ‘A Very Unpleasant Process for Him and His Family’

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) revealed on Tuesday that he warned Trump secretary of defense nominee Pete Hegseth his Senate confirmation would be “a very unpleasant process for him and his family.”

“I’m supporting Pete’s confirmation and I believe ultimately he will be confirmed,” said Cornyn during an appearance on Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt Tonight. “I know of no one who’s said that they will vote against him.”
