Rep. Clyburn: I’m ‘Very Satisfied’ That 51% of Voters Who Didn’t Vote for Trump Will Put Dems Back in Power

CLYBURN: “Well, once again, we’re gonna have to agree to the debt ceiling. You think they’re gonna be able to do that alone? You don’t think the speaker is going to have to come to Hakeem Jeffries to get — to keep the government open? Yes, we are gonna work with them and we’re hold ourselves out to the American people saying what we’re doing. We’ll let them see and let them compare, and I do believe that we’re gonna be very satisfied with what they see. But just remember, the American people voted us out and we’re gonna have to live with what the current composition of the Congress is and we’re gonna have to live with this president, and then let’s see in the next six months or eight months, and then I think that you’ll see definition coming to the differences between us and them. And that’s what we’re gonna run on in the next election, the differences between us and them. And I’m very satisfied the vast majority of American people, that over 51% that did not vote for Trump, they will put us back in power.”
