Beschloss: ‘34 Felonies’ Would Have Been a ‘Barrier’ to Presidency in the Past
‘Somehow in recent years, it is no longer a barrier’
RUSH EXCERPT:
BESCHLOSS: "Here is a case where if we had all talked about this on a panel like this let’s say 15 years ago, and I said that one of the two major party nominees was convicted of 34 felonies, and the other things that are known about him, and promised to be dictator for a day, and talked about suspending the Constitution, pinning in the Justice Department against his political enemies, possible military tribunals staged by the Department of Defense, I think and anyone here correct me if you think I am wrong, I think we would have said that that was a barrier to that person becoming president of the United States."
