We spent $1 billion, we have concerts all over the country, and yet, people can‘t afford a house, they can‘t afford a car, we were not speaking to the economic needs of a lot of working and middle-class Americans and there needs to be a much more bottom-up approach, I think we should spend six months outside of Washington, going to communities, listening to voters in rural America, and really building up a positive agenda but we need to be honest, it was a failure, in terms of the campaign."
